This past summer, I attended the annual Montana Public Health Association conference in Missoula, at which I heard a presentation by Cascade County Commissioner Jane Weber and Cascade County Budget Officer Mary Embleton about how we in public health need to be better at convincing policy-makers and governing officials of our value.
